PC Doctor/Advanced Pattern Test/Failed

First ever failure since new.  PC Doctor notation reads WME02-I9M    [phonetic "I"-------"I" for India I think]

Before PCDoctor was run, a pop-up stated : "Unable to locate APSDaemon.exe   MSVCR80.dll was not found."

I suspect this is due to a failed  iTunes update download of Fri 31st Jan. Warning "error7 - Windows error 126

Is there any hope ? :)
