PowerDVD DX removal

I have an Inspiron 6000 with Windows XP MCE 2005.

Apparently Dell installs "PowerDvd DX" (a stripped down PowerDvd that works with MCE) I guess in order to get an Mpeg decoder.

Anyway, I want to install full PowerDvd 6 and I can't, the install fails with "Invalid installer".

I'm sure this is because PowerDvd DX is installed, so I want to REMOVE / UNINSTALL PowerDvd DX.

But there's no entry in Add/Remove Programs, or shortcuts to uninstall.

How do I uninstall PowerDvd DX???

Solved: Simply removed all files/folders in my Local Settings\Temp folder, then ran PowerDVD 6 setup and it worked.

Virtue,

Good job. I run the CleanUp! program once a week and before I install any software.
