As it turns out you can download the software from Microsoft as long as you have the Product Key (which can be extracted from your computer). I did a web search to find this out. Of course the next best thing is to find the disks in the wrong place (which I just did) and life is good once again! Thanks for your help and have a great evening.
There is no option of downloading the software from the Dell website. In case Microsoft Office 2007 CD is missing, the next is option is to purchase the software.
Hello, remember always create a backup recovery disk of your preinstalled O.S. About your Microsoft Office, as long as you have your laptop's serial number and product key, you can download a new one. You'll just have to surf the net a bit and search for the download page. Hope I helped!
