probem with dell Media experience

Hi there! 

i dont know if anyone out in dell computerland can help me, i've posted before on another message board on CDRW. not to long ago i was trying to make DVD for my sister knowing that my cdrw wasnt a dvd burner,Like a idiot, i went on the Dell Media experience and do one there. i did  the setup wizard correctly i put my HL-DT-ST CDRW/DVD GCC4482 as the perferred recording device well, thing is when i got done with the program. i noticed something odd  i think it  had changed label name from HL-DT-STCDRW/DVD labeling to  just plain DVD/CDRWdrive: (D) now i dont if it changed  or not i dont remember i just got this computer for christmas, if anyone out there own a dell dimenision 3000 with a combo CD/DVD  please let me know what does your saids on your rom as you looked on "my computer" i know its alot to asked. i simply cant remember what my had on the CD ROM  icon label,
