Problem sending mail with Outlook 2003

I have an Inspiron E1505, which came with XP Pro SP2 and MS Office 2003 pre-loaded. I've been having intermittent problems sending email. Send/receive runs, but the mail remains in my outbox. I'm not getting an error message, it just sits there.

What's wierd is that it doesn't happen consistently. I have 2 messages, both from the same account that will not go, but I have been able to send replies to listmail. According to my ISP, I have my client configured correctly. I can send myself a test message successfully.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I've had intermittent problems with Outlook, since Outlook98, and I have Outlook 2003 now.

Randomly when I answer a message a certain and random e-mail address will get rejected by my e-mail server (and this has happened on more than one ISP).  I have no idea why, but if I create a new message the new message will go through.  It doesn't happen very often but it does happen.
