My recommendation would be go here; http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/download-office-professional-plus/default.aspx and download Office 2010. You will need an e-mail address, Microsoft will send you a Product Key Code to activate Office 2010 with. Office 2010 will function until the later part of October 2010. You advised you would be returning home in April 2010. After returning home you can either un-install Office 2010 and then re-install your regular Office Program or leave Office 2010 installed and purchase after it is released. I would caution against trying to re-install your old Office Program without first removing the Office 2010 install.
Or you could go here; http://pcsupport.about.com/od/productkeysactivation/tp/topkeyfinder.htm the top thirteen Product key finders are listed. The first, Magical Jelly Bean Key Finder states it will reveal the product code for Office Products. You could download one of the programs and run it to see if you have a Product Code for Office on your system after the restore that Office will accept as valid.
