If you have Windows XP or Windows ME, use the System Restore function and restore the PC to a date/time PRIOR to first attempting to instlal the WorksSuite. Then try a new installation. That may clear whatever error is causing it to hang up.
This assumes everything else is working OK and installed OK after the OS reinstall.
