Problems opening Excel Attachment in Microsoft Outlook

Help!

When I attempt to open an Excel attachment to an email in Microsoft Outlook I get a window that asks for a CD to insert the 'Microsoft Office XP Professional with Front Page' disk and click OK.
Microsoft Office XP Professional and Front Page were installed when I purchased my Inspiron Computer from Dell and Front Page is loaded now and accessible.  Help, I do not understand what file my computer is searching for or how to restore it.  It is imperative that I am able to open these excel files for my home business.

To get a new CD will depend on how old your system is.  If it is more that a few weeks old, they may not give you the install CD for MS Office.

In the mean time, you can save the attachment to a folder and then open it from there.  Or can you not open an Excel file at all?

If you purchased this software, you should have the CD.  If you don't have the CD, contact Dell immediately and have them send you one.
