Product key for Microsoft Works
I recently upgraded my computer from Windows XP to Windows 7. When I did this I forgot to get the product key and registration number from Microsoft Works 8.5. I also added a new hard drive and make it the boot drive. I still have Microsoft Works on the old drive which is supposed to be bootable, but I can't boot to it. I would like to know if there's any way I could find the product key on my old drive so i can re-download Works without having to repurchase it.

Hi gbcellon, If that disc was supplied by Dell, then you wont need a product key for Works, only if it is retail will you need a key.

I failed to mention in my original message that I had misplaced the disc but since the original message I found the disc and everything is okay now. Thank you very much.
