Restoring a computer to the factory settings.
I wanna restore my computer to the factory settings. I unintentionally deleted the Recovery Partition. Dell doesn't give out the Recovery Partition CD any more. Someone in this forum said that i couldn't do anything once the Recovery Partition had been deleted but i think there must be a place on Dell web site where i can download the Recovery Program to do that? Right?

Nope once you delete the recovery partition you can no longer use the factory restore. And there is nor has there ever been a place to download. You will need to use your Dell disk to reload the os if you do not have a disk then you can go HERE and request a set of backup disks for free.
