Roxio burn not working

hi everyone,

i have a Dell Inspirion N350 i bought it just a few months ago and it comes with roxio burn.

it worked well until a few days ago when it just stopped appearing, i mean i can see the icon but when i click the roxio icon just nothing happens i don't see the software on the screen.

i tried reparing it through the control panel but after a while i got a message "the installation wizard needs a network resource which is not available".

i browsed the cd's that Dell supplied with the computer one is the operation system and in the other called drivers&utilities there is no mention of Roxio burn.

i can't burn cd's and i need it....

what can i do?

thank you in advance

CLICK ME    This looks like the download for Roxioburn, from the Dell downloads listing for the N5010.

In the interim, if that doesn't fix it, you can download the free (and popular) ImgBurn CD/DVD burning program.  HERE

Have you tried using the "System Restore" function and restoring the PC back to a date when it did work?  System Restore fixes a lot of problems and may take care of yours.   System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools.

There is no Inspiron N350 that I can find, can you confirm your model number?  I do find a Samsung N350.

first of all yes, i have tried system restore and didn't help...

and i'm so sorry the correct number is Dell inspirion N5010.

is there no way of getting the instatlation file from Dell? it's seems weird that they would not give a back up installation file to the only burning program on this computer....

thanks a lot

For some reason that link is not working.  Go to the downloads for the N5010 and then select Applications and the Roxio is listed under applications.
