Try Control Panel, Mail, Email Accounts, View or Change. and make certain there is only one account. If so, you may want to delete the only account and rebuild it.

thanks for your tip, but unfortunately this is not the problem. I've only one email account configurated...

any other ideas? thanks in advance,
