I'm not sure if I understand you completely.

Do you have the 5100C already? It should come preinstalled anyways.

I ordered my 5100C with the Student and Teach Edition.  Do I need to install that myself?  It came with the unopened program and the MS system now is "Standard" MS.  I just want to check cause I don't want to waste one of my downloads as there are only 3 maximum allowed.
Thanks!

You're a bit confused.

First, this is a software question and really belongs on the Software - MS Office forum.

Second, all software comes pre-installed from Dell.

However, what do you mean by "the MS system is now 'Standard' MS?  The "SYSTEM" is Microsoft Windows XP Home.  The application program is Office for Students and Teachers.

Lastly, Office for Student and Teachers allows you to install the software on THREE COMPUTERS.  That doesn't mean you can only install it once on a particular computer (note "install" vs. "download").  If you decided to reformat your computer weekly, you could continue to reinstall Office on that particular computer.  It can be installed on three physical computers in your home.

Hope that helps.
