Trouble uninstalling Powerpoint 2007 viewer

Attempted to delete the PP 2007 viewer that came on my Inspiron 1525.

When I try to uninstall via Control Panal/Programs/Uninstall Programs I am told to insert disk in CD drive.

Problem is I don't have a disk.

I did delete the trial version first day I got it.

I tried putting the trial version disk that Ido have but it didn't recognise it.

So what do I do to uninstall, not just remove it, from the computer.

I'm back.  I figured out how to remove Powerpoint Viewer 2007. I found that when I clicked on Repair from within the "Programs and Features" window, it asked me to find the disk that uses ppviewer.msi.  So I decided to search my HD for the mentioned file. Found it!   It was located at C:\Dell\MediaDirect\App.

I right clicked on the file and saw that the first three options were Install, Repait and Uninstall.  I clicked uninstall and it was gone!

I hope this helps anyone else looking to a solution to the problem.

Thanks!

My Inspiron 1525 came with Powerpoint Viewer 2007. I already installed Office 2007 so when I try to view a powerpoint presentation (pps file), by the way I don't know which program is trying to open it the viewer or the full app. Anyway, the program crashes.

So, I am now trying to uninstall the powerpoint viewer so that I can run a repair on Office and maybe that can get a PPS file to open. When I try to uninstall the viewer there is only a repai button, when I click it I get prompted to insert a disk.

How to I get rid of Powerpoint Viewer?

Please help!
