Upward Arcing Text in MS Pub 2K

Is there a way to upward arc text in Publisher 2000?  I've went through the help file and couldn't find anything on it.

I'm making some round badges and would like to have our club name arcing around the top of the round badge.

I can do it in Printshop and maybe export the printshop as a jpg and paste it, but it seems Publisher should be able to do that.

Thanks/Jack

Have you tried using "Word Art"?  It's the tilted "A" on the menu bar on the left of your screen (or from the Menu bar, it's Insert, Picture, Word Art).  Word Art does have many styles available, and one is an upward arc.  You can also play around with it and create some neat color effects, too.  It does require some patience, though.  Experiment and you can do some really interesting things.

I have Publisher 2003, so I'm going on my recollection of Publisher 2000.  In any case, Word Art is what you need.

Thanks, I'll have to do some reinstallation.  I tried word art and got a message it was not installed (although I did a full install when I installed office).

If for some reason you can't get Word Art to install in Publisher (don't know why, though, since it is a standard component), then you can always use Word Art in Word.  Create whatever text you want using the Word Art feature in Word, then Copy and Paste it over into Publisher.  It will paste in as a separate text box.  Good luck!

Thanks, I got it working, I had to reinstall it.  For some reason it didn't install when I originall did a full install of Office 2000 Professional.

There are quite a few bits of office that don't install by default, they get left as 'install on first use' or 'run from CD'. You can check on that in add/remove.
