Works spreadsheet and Excel incompatible?

I have Worksuite 2003 and I created a spreadsheet to send to someone who couldn't open it because of liscensing issues. She has Office on her confuser. What to do?

If it's like my problem, Works systems are not compatible with the "normal" components like Word, Excel, etc.  My Works Address Book cannot be accessed by Word for creating mailings.  Pain in the neck.  See my thread of 12/9/04.  I am learning Excel at a paralegal school, but I have severly limited abilities to do any homework at home because the Works spreadsheet is not sophisticated enough, and won't recognize the Office 2000 training disc we use at school.

Try looking through "Save As" options to transfer the data. Perhaps it allows a format for an earlier version (of Excel)?
