Are you getting one of the sets of light patterns shown on page 35 of the Dell 2400MP Owners Manual?

    - It sounds like it.

          - You might want to consult this chart, and then phone Dell, because there are some situations listed where the projector powers off (for safety?)

I have takne it to my local electronics repair shop and they tell me the "color wheel" has gone - does anybody know where I can get a replacement ( Do DELL stock these ?)
