You’ve found the right person… I had both projectors in my home side-by-side and the Dell 3300MP is the way to go.  I was lured by BenQ reviews but in the end the Dell has a crisper image, longer lamp life and there was no noticeable difference in color, brightness, or contrast despite the BenQ’s “better” specs.  The BenQ has richer color out of the box, but it the Dell can match.  Fan noise is about the same as well, even though the BenQ has dual fans.  The Dell is better constructed and the M1-DA connection provides a means for a DVI connection which the BenQ does not.  I do wish the Dell had Component In as well as the M1-DA, however.

I'm using mine for movies, DirecTV, and Xbox.  If you happen to play games I highly recommend a VGA adaptor.  I bought the one from www.vdigi.com and the picture is unbelievable.

Also, don’t skimp on the screen – it can make a huge difference in image quality.  I bought a DLP specific screen from Da-Lite. http://www.da-litehometheater.com/

I also picked up the Dell ceiling mount with quick-release which is nice if you want to go mobile.

Is there a way to input video using wireless to the Dell 3300 MP instead of using S video cable ? eg., from DVD player or Cable Box?  I  just bought the 3300 MP and currently use the S video cable.

Thanks for any help or direction to appropriate forum or site.

RadioShack has wireless transmitter and receiver sets (total cost about $200). I don't remember seeing a S-video port on the devices though. You may need to downgrade to the composite video cable. Check the specification before you buy.
