You can take a backup of the C:\Program Files\EMC\RM\Serverdb\Backups folder.
This is a backup of the configuration from the previous night @ 9pm.
In the event of a restore (say in weeks time), rename the existing backups folder, shutdown the RM Server service, restore in the old backup folder and perfom the erm_restore utility.
