Error: Mirror driver not active, reboot required

Hi,
When I create a New EMC Mirroring for windows data source, the autostart show me a error: Mirror driver not active, reboot required.

The Windows service: Indexing Service was disable. This machine doesn't have a an antivirus software.

In the windows event view I have this log about AUTOSTART:
The partition for js Member1 cannot be accessed.
js Member1 is BROKEN.
js is Created.
js is Deleted.

I don't create Data source.

How do I resolve this problem?

Thanks.
Rogerio

I would suggest to make sure that no application is actively accessing the partition during the data source creation. There are Microsoft sysinternals utilities that can help determine if something is actively accessing files on the partition. I believe Handle or FileMon should be able to provide some insight in this situation.

Once it is determined which application is accessing the partition, it should be properly stopped or reconfigured to stop access during the creation and offline of the data source.

Hi People,
The problems was occurs, because de version of O.S. (W2K) were incompatibility with version 5.3 SP1. I had installel at Windows Server 2003 and the AutoStart worked normally.

Tks People.
