Having problem with my cd-r/rw driver, it will not close, i run the
troubleshoot and it say that it's working properly, everytime i close it it

I just bought double layer DVD-Rs for my burner. I didn't realize
until I got home that it says I have to have a DVD-R DL burner. My burner is

I've been reading through previous posts but couldn't find the exact

Copy data from a CD-R ?
I have always used the CD-RW but looking at the CD-R in some
cases.
If I copy a data file from my HardDrive to the CD-R then at a later
date find it necessary to put that file on my HD can I copy the Data from the
CD-R ?

My notebook won't play a DVD+R copy of one of my movies that I made on
my PC. The CD-ROM I have on mine is just a CD-RW drive, not a DVD burner. Is

Matshita cdrw/dvd ujd9740 doesn't play dvd-r or dvd+r
I have an inspiron 4150. It plays commercial dvd's but will not play
movies burnt on a dvd-r or dvd+r. These discs can be played on dvd player,
playstation2 and desktop computer. Any ideas? It is a Matshita cdrw/dvd ujd9740. I've tried powerdvd, media player,
