Can't get pass the proxy setting page.

I have successfully applied the upgrade and logging in ok to complete the setup.  The first step is to setup a proxy.  We I don't use an internet proxy and it wouldn't allow ne to continue.  I've test network connectivity and firewall outbound blocks, all looks good and clear.

KB article was archived, as issue was resolved with new update SRS VE version 3.52.10.08.

 

Which version of SRS VE do you have?

Hello,

we're at SRS VE version 3.52.10.08.

There has been a previous upgrade attempt before 3.52.10.08 was released. I'd appreciate you'd share the mentioned procedure.

Still looking for the procedure. Like many others I'd like to finish the upgrade and despite have updated to latest ESRS (after a failed upgrade before the update was released) the problem laid out occurs and I'm certain I can make things working on my environment - the only thing missing is KB content which unfortunlately has been removed.

 

I've already invested so many hours and I find it very frustrating being denied access to the KB content.

Hello, we have the same problem with the proxy check. Before the update there was no proxy configured.

From the new update we cannot pass the proxy / or not test and the script doesn't change the problem. We can do a simple wget www.google.fr from the command line the no problem for the acces to the net.

After numerous attempts and hours of deep troubleshooting, I've ended up installing a new SCG 5.0 from scratch and migrating the devices one ofter the other from old ESRS to SCG.

There's a ridiculous number of bugs in current SCG, but the software is quite nice after all.

Hi, we've have the same problem. Since the update we can't validate the proxy / no proxy problem. Same problem already after we've applicated the script given.

We can do a wget from the command line. Before the update no proxy was used too.

I would have to recommend contacting phone support. This is so that they can validate this and potentially escalate, as necessary. It was my understanding that the update was addressing this.
