MD1200 and R720
Hi,
i have a R720 but it comes without HDD and Controller.
Backplane is installed but it show no HDD.
There is no internal Storage Controller card.
It´s a LSI Controller installed for Connection to the MD1200
I have connected from Server to booth IN Ports on the MD1200
I try to open LSI Config but i landing at the system bios

If you have a Dell Server and a Dell JBOD why not just using a Dell RAID HBA? The right one should be H830 (H810? can remember *) or so which offer 2x6Gbit external SAS Ports and Cache/Battery. Is fully integrated into the boot process and management is also partial manageble through OMSA.
