Dear Community,

We're using Microsoft Exchange 2016 / Hybrid Exchange Online. DeArchiveJobs for each Mailbox were initiated and successfully completed before Usermailboxes were migrated to exchange online.

Some Users moved emails to pst files long time ago, which still have shortcutted attachments inside them and now the users are not able to access the shortcutted attachments.

The Shortcut points to the onprem emc email archive and prompts for user credentials.

Is there a way to grant users with migrated mailboxes access to onpremises emc email archive to view/open the shortcutted attachments?
when a user enters the credentials, the prompt shows up again.

i was able to access the attachment by using a serviceuser which has still an onpremises mailbox and permission to acccess the users mailbox (where the shortcutted attachment is stored)
