Retention and auto-disposition on migration folder during SourceOne migration
I have a customer that I am performing a migration for. They have 2 SourceOne archive folders 5 yr retention and EmailXtender Migration. Retention is set to 60 months on both folders as well as auto-disposition. The backend is Centera. The migration is failing because I believe there is retention in place. What I need to know is should I remove the retention as well as auto disposition for the migration and then enable both once the migration is complete. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Brian,
Retention is fine and should be set to match the EmailXtender Retention unless they want to change it.
Auto-Disposition cannot be set on the Migrated Data Folder until after the Migration is Completed and Validated.
Turn OFF Auto-Disposition and leave the retention as is on that folder.
This would definitely cause any messages outside of the retention period to fail when trying to migrate.
