Upgrading to 4.7 SR1

Question

If an upgrade is performed on the server, will the old clients using 4.7.434 still be able to connect and perform searches and retreive shortcuts?

I do not recall any significant changes with the search plug in from versions 434 and up. I have not run into any problems with the .434 within an SR1 environment.ccharlto

So if you are running it a Domino environment does this mean the search client plugin for Notes will need to be upgraded too?

..and does the Journaling task need to be updated on the domino servers?

If you have 434 (hotfix 439) installed on the Domino servers you should not need to upgrade.. (we have been running OK in this config for about three weeks)TOM
