Hi Yu_Buffon,

Those errors indicate your hard drive has probably failed. Is your laptop still under warranty?

Hey There,

I've got a similar situation... What if the laptop isn't under warranty, and extension is not an option? How hard is it to buy a new hard drive? Or should I just toss this bloody thing in the river and get a new one? ...from apple.

Hi there, it is relatively easy to change the hd on a DELL laptop, especially the STUDIO range laptops. They are more "open". I have changed the hd once. But I'm not sure about the laptops from APPLE. As far as I know, u cant do any hardware modification after u purchased it (APPLE).
