Acronis True Image??

alright, i want to clone my harddrive and i'm told the Acronis True Image is the best and most reliable way to do this. the only problem: its 50 bucks for a one time use. is there any way i could do this cheaper? any input would be greatly appreciated.

There is a free trial download, but as I've never used it, I cannot say, if it's a full copy of Acronis True Image 9.0

http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage//

You can download the full retail copy of Acronis True Image 9.0 for $31.99 from here

The trial version is functionality-limited.

Consider it an investment - it can be used to maintain backups as well as do the initial cloning.

I bought the retail version and it was a very worthwhile invesment for cloning boot drives, even ide to sata with no problems. IT is very easy to use and also fast
