I'm looking at a new western digital 120 gb hard drive on e-bay for only 49.00 or 64.99 buy it now....does anyone think this is a steal or is there a catch???

How do I know if it will be compatable with my 4600c??? It is eide 7200 rpm with 40-pin...so what next???

You cannot add an internal drive to the 4600c - there is space for only one hard drive. You can replace the existing drive however.

I was mistaken, it is a straight 4600...the owner's manual advises there is space for an additional harddrive...does size of cache have anything to do with the price...I really think $65.00 is cheap for 120 gb...don't you???

It is, but if you're willing to play a rebate game and have a Best Buy nearby, they have a Seagate 7200 rpm 120G for $99.99 with a $50 rebate. That's probably what the seller has done, and he/she is selling it at a $15 markup.
