XPS 15 9560
I posted this in the XPS forum a while ago but maybe this is a better place for the question as it isn't necessarily XPS specific.
I recently upgraded the original M2 NVMe SSD that came with this laptop to a 1TB Samsung 980
https://www.samsung.com/uk/memory-storage/nvme-ssd/980-1tb-nvme-pcie-gen-3-mz-v8v1t0bw/
Since then, the Standard SATA AHCI Controller in device manager is showing an error
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
An I/O adapter hardware error has occurred.
In device manager, both the new Samsung NVMe SSD and an additional 2.5" SSD are showing as working properly and in use that certainly seems the case.
So my questions are: is there any way to fix the error, and if not does it really matter that this device is showing up as an error state?
