blue screen error

as the computer boots, I get a blue screen error: stop 0x00000077
kernel_stack_inpage_error
begining dump of physycal memory

If I try rebooting, sometimes I will get a primary harddrive 0 not found.

and if I get really lucky, it boots up with no problems.

BACKUP immediately. Reseat the drive. Then run the Dell diagnostics.

If the diagnostics show a fault, replace the drive - and keep your backups current even if they don't, because there's a good chance the drive is giving you a 2-minute warning that it's not long for this world.

hi,  I am having the exact same problem and i look in the bios it says there is no hard dectable.  then, say 1 hour later it boots.   Did you find a solution.  i'd be reaaly ticked if i have to replace the hard drive.  I just recieved this machine a month ago.  replaceing a older Pentium 3 Toshebia that was terrible.
