Burning DVD Issues

Question

I have the Dimension 8400 with a HL-DT-ST GRA-4120B DVD+RW. I want to put some personal footage on a dvd and when I go and press burn this message appears, 'Recordable media was not detected in the DVD+RW GRA-4120B to continue please insert recordable media and click retry.' Now I have DVD+R and DVD+RW blank DVD's and I dont understand way the cpu is not reading the blank DVDs. By the way I have both Nero 7 and Sonic MyDVD. Can anyone help?

After I do Infotool is say 'No Disc Inserted'

Start the Nero Infotool with a disc in the drive and tell me what it reports.

Thanks For the help. I figured out the problem and all I did was go to device manager unistalled the DVD+RW drive and rebooted the cpu. When the cpu came back on the driver was reinstalled and is burn DVD fine now. Thanks for your help!
