can i ever get some help?!?!

I have been working with customer "service" over the phone for almost 2 months now to try to get my desktop to work. One day, it just wouldn't boot. It froze on the Windows screen. After a month and a half, Dell finally sent a tech out to give me a new hard drive. Now the operating system won't boot--it just freezes. The phone operators at Dell REPEATEDLY call me in the middle of the afternoon, despite the fact that I have told them at least 10-20 times over the phone and by email that I do not get home from work until after 6:30 central standard time. Yet every single time, I get a "sorry to have missed you" voicemail at 1:00 in the afternoon, or 5:30, or some other wierd time. I'm seriously ready to go crazy. This customer "service" is a joke. If anyone knows how to help me with this issue, PLEASE let me know!!!!!!

michelle:

Much more information would be needed to offer any kind of help.

What kind of system is it?  400? 600? 200?

Did the tech reinstall your o.s. on the hard drive?

Is it xp home? Media? pro?

Did the tech reinstall drivers?

Any kind of error message when the operating system freezes?
