CD burner problem
i'm trying to save a number of word files on a cd-rw
when i try and save from MSWORD, or attempt to access it from My Computer, an error message keeps popping up saying that the d drive is inaccessible.
not problems when using music-file buring software
i'm working on a dimension 4400 running XP
what am i doing wrong?

First some programs will not let you save directly to a CD. You have to save it to a file on the hard drive and then just copy that file over to the CD.
Second, if you have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5, you must first format the CD with Direct CD and then you can "drag and drop" using the Windows Explorer.
One note of caution, RW discs are known to lose data and or format so don't have the "only copy" of any data on an RW disc, always have a backup copy somewhere.
If you have some other CD burning software, you will have to post back with what you are using, so someone can further assist you.
