CD Rom Code 39 File either corrupt or missing. Now what do I do?
Dimension 4500
Device manager says this drive is either missing or corrupt. Gives code 39.
How do I restore the drive to the computer?

Hi Paula,
The Code 39 error is usually related to the Upper & Lower Filters. Please click on the CD/RW link in my post and scroll to Section 100, article 31 for Microsoft`s article on the subject.
