CD/DVD drives freezes computer
My problems is that when using RW CDis in either my CD or DVD drives they freeze the computer. This does not happen with when using R CDs. It happens also if I use a new blank RW. Any ideas please.

Hi Aryeh,
Your DVD-ROM drive will not read blank RW media and may cause a problem, however your CD/RW drive should "see" the media.
Consider checking for updates to your burning software or un-install / re-install it, something may have corrupted a required file.
Also, always a good idea to provide just a tad more information, such as the Dell System, Operating System, model of the drive and the burning software you are using.
