Computer Freezes at Start-up

I just bought a new dell about 2 weeks ago and during the last 3 or 4 days it freezes up during start-up. It does this about 2 or 3 time before it finally starts up completely. Any suggestion or thought about why it is doing this.

Thanks

Do a System restore back to a date before it started happening.

try this:
use msconfig to disable all your startup programs because sometimes they can cause system to lockup.
click on:
start>run>type in "msconfig"
go to the  "startup" tab. check "disable all programs".click on apply then close and restart the system.

if no go

use PC restore, press CTRL+F11 once you see the blue bar on top of your screen during bootup. this will restore windows and all the application to factory condition.you have to know though that any personal information/documents are not restored and will be deleted,so back them up first.=)
