dell inpiron 1545 hd no boot
The lp computer flash a blue screen with white letter and boot to a clear blue screen with flowers and a pigeon. If the hd is connected to a different lp it boot to w7. I a different hd is connect to the 1545 does not work either. I run the test and gave the same massage error code, hd feilure code 79.

Hi heri47,
Since the HDD is working fine on another known good system and a known good HDD is not working on this Inspiron 1545, I suspect the issue may be with the system.
I request you to run diagnostics once again on the system and check if there is any error message. To run diagnostics restart the system and at the Dell logo tap the F12 key every two seconds. This will start the One-time boot menu. Using arrow keys select ‘Diagnostics’ and hit enter. This will run diagnostics on the hardware components of the system which may take around 5 minutes. Please reply with detailed error message if any.
Also I request you to send be a private message with the system service tag to check the warranty details and assist you further.

Error 0146 indicates a failed/failing hard drive or bad drive sector. This means your hard drive will need to be replaced.
