Dimension 4500 power up

Question

This dell will not power up. I open the cover and check for loose connector and found none. I plugged in the power cord and the standby light came on the motherboard. I am working on this for my daughter. She used it one day and shut it down and the computer would not turn on again. What else can I do what the problem may be?

Check the 4 lights on the back of the computer and see if they are all green when power is turned on. If not then write down the order of the lights. You can post back or check out the diagnostic for your system on the system info pages.

There are no power lights on the back of this Dimension 4500 PC.  I do thank vets' I am one.  Thank you.
