Dimension 4600
I have worn out my CD drive (HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8483B). I would like a replacement recommendation. Also, can I replace my DVD drive (HL-DT-ST-DVD-ROM GDR8162B) with a burner model?

Hi, bulletproof1ds:
I'd suggest you replace the CD-RW with a DVD/RW. You need an IDE drive, like one of these. Then you can use your DVD-ROM as your read drive and the DVD/RW as the writer.
The only installation trick is to make sure you set the jumper to cable select. Otherwise, it's a simple swap.
