Dimension Hard Drive

A friend of mine has recently purhcased a Dimension PC.  The hard drive has started to make a lot of noise (a bit like a garden strimmer) when saving files.  He has called the support line and the staff who can barely speak English are insisting that this is a software problem and asked him to do a system restore!  Can someone please let me know the UK number for English speaking TECHNICAL support and proper customer service?  He's just called me, he was promised a call back after 15 mintues, 2 hours later...........

Your friend needs to e-mail tech support. This will generally get a quicker response and a more knowledgeable technician (and you deal with the same person, not handed off). If replacement parts are needed, you'll get them mroe quickly.
