"Drive 2 not found" Please help!
Hello Everyone!
I recently moved and despite packing my computer in all of it's original pacakaging (exactly as it was shipped to me) something happened in the process. When I start up my computer, the CD drive will not open (the light next to the button does not turn on either) and an error message pops up before windows starts saying that drive 2 cannot be found and to press F1 to continue. Everything else seems to run fine but I can't seem to figure out what happened or how to go about fixing it. I have a Dimension 5100 and if any of you can offer any advice it would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

It is possible something “came loose” in transit”. I would open the case and check the cables attached to the drive in question. Here is your service manual which can be downloaded and viewed for assistance in checking that out first.
