drive D almost full
Hi people!
I am an "older generation" person with very little knowledge about computers. I have just bought an XPS M1330. I copied some files onto my new computer ..... just general stuff like documents and photos ..... and then tried to back them all up onto my computer. The first option that came up was to back everything to Drive D, which I attempted to do. After a short time, I got a message saying that there wasn't enough room on that drive and the back up was aborted. Now I keep getting a message saying that my D drive only has 1% space left!
What I would like to do is reformat my hard drive, but if there is a drive D and a drive C, will I run into problems when doing this, or will my re-installation disc sort everything out with no problems? Also, would I use the Operating System reinstallation disc first? Or do I use the Drivers and Utilities disc first?
Thanks heaps in anticipation!
