dvd player wont work

Hi, Duramax:

There are three possibilities:
1. Your DVD drive has stopped reading DVDs.
2. Your drive is fine, but the DVD decoder is not working properly.
3. Both the drive and decoder are fine, but your autoplay is failing to start your decoder properly when you insert the disc.

Try this. Insert the disc. Open My Computer. Right click your DVD drive and select Explore. You should see the audio and video folders. If you do, then the drive is working.

Let me know how that goes.

ok i did that and i see the folders but now when i put a dvd in my sonic cineplayer opens but when i click play it does not doing anything it wont play at all

Ok, so that confirms your drive is good. I would reinstall the application.

ok where do i get that stuff to reinstall it from.. is there a eb page where maybe i can get it for free...can i do it myself or is it hard enough where i need someone to help..
