DVD+R

I have a Dimension 515OC. System won't recognize DVD+R. Can't Burn DVD. Can burn CD.

Please provide two details:

The model of your DVD drive (find this in device manager),
The specific brand and speed of your DVD+R discs.

DVD Drive:HL-DT-ST CDRW/DVD GCC4244

Discs: TDK, speed unk

You drive cannot burn DVDs, only CDs. In order to burn DVDs, you'll need to either replace your drive with a DVD burner or add an external DVD burner.
