Did you get an answer? I have the same question/problem. I can use DVD+RW but I can't get DVD+R's to work.

Which media does Philips DVD+RW - D28 support? I bought a noname brand and they didnt work. Now, Im thinking of buying Bulkpaq instead. Will they work?
