I have an Inspiron 8200 with the GCC 4240N DVC/CDRW combo drive and I have just noticed that it is not recoginzing certain CDROM discs.  The two that I have trouble with are Links 2003 and The Print Shop Deluxe version 15

Before I installed XP service pack 1 and all the other updates for XP, I installed an played Links 2003 with no problems.  I subsequently unistalled it, also before the service pack update to XP.  It was just now, after trying to install The Print Shop, that I discovered that the drive would not recognize the disc at all.  It makes some revving sounds and even some quiet electronic beeping type sounds but will not read the disc.  After having this trouble I began to investigate to see if other discs would be read or not.  The only other disc I have found to have trouble is the Links 2003 disc.

I have installed the lates firmware for the drive.

Any help would be much appreciated!
