Hard Drive Error

I purchased and installed a new Seagate 80G hard drive. My old 60G hard drive is the master and the new one is set-up as cable select (default). I have a 2-year old Dell PC with 512 memory. When I try to capture video from my miniDV camcorder on the new hard drive, I get a message that "data rate is less than required rate of 4213 Kbytes/second". I have no problem in capturing video on the old hard drive. Anyone have any thoughts on this problem. Thanks.

Try setting the jumper on the new drive to slave.
