Hard Drive failed on check up.
I just got my computer back after having the LCD screen fixed. I ran a PC scan I believe and the hard drive failed the test. The first test it failed was a Targeted Read Test along with a code, WHD20-TXH. Also a SMART Short Self Test with a code of WHD16-CVW. What does this mean. All my files are backed up and the test says my hard drive will fail soon.

Run the Dell diagnostics (F12 at powerup). What does that report?

Best to reboot computer, then at boot, press the F12 key and you will see 'diagnosis' program. Run this program from here. Will take awhile. (you can run just the HD portion if you desire). Then recheck. It is always best to run from here instead of an on-board software. This is a clean run.
