HELP Please
I have just recently purchased the Dell Dimension desktop. I am trying to burn a movie to my DVD burner, but it is not recognizing any of the disks that I am trying to use. I have DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD+R and DVD-R. Can anyone tell me which is the best DVD to purchase. Please!!!

Hi Counsellor,
You find the following link very helpful in regards to media, drives, how to.. and much more:
Media reviews
May I ask though, what is the name/model of your drive?

The TSST TS-H492C is a CD-RW/DVD-ROM (Combo) Drive. That means it
can read DVD media but is not capable of writing to it. User's
Guide is here ............

Hi Barry,
Sorry for not getting back to you last night, my niece came bye with three of her friends and spent the night. They took over all three PC`s !!!
Mike~Skybird covered your issue for you, unfortunately the term Combo drives DVD/CDRW tends to be misleading for some.
I wish you & Mike a very Merry Christmas !
